Bruins Top Senators in OT, 2-1

(BOSTON) -- The Boston Bruins won their fifth straight as they topped the Ottawa Senators 2-1 in overtime Thursday.

Patrice Bergeron tipped Dennis Seidenberg's shot past Ottawa goaltender Robin Lehner with 1:21 left in the extra period to seal the win.

At first Bergeron's tip wasn't considered a goal, but after a review it was clear that Lehner actually pushed the puck into the net while trying to grab the puck.

Nathan Horton put Boston on the board first 5:48 into the second period, but Ottawa (12-6-3, 27pts) tied the game at one in the same period when Jim O'Brien scored on the power play.

The loss snaps the Senators' five-game win streak.

Boston (13-2-2, 28pts) now trails Montreal by one point for the Northeast Division lead.
