(NEW YORK) -- Jake Long is headed to St. Louis.
The offensive tackle has signed a deal to become a Ram after playing his whole career with the Miami Dolphins, as confirmed by the Ram's chief operating officer, Kevin Demoff.
Long's last season with the Dolphins ended in December after a left triceps injury landed him on injured reserve. Prior to that setback, he had missed only two games in his career due to injury.
According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the deal is worth $36 million over four years.
Long, who was the No. 1 overall pick of the Dolphins in the 2008 draft, was named the Pro Bowl in each of his first four seasons.
