If you purchase the deluxe edition of Phoenix’s new album, Bankrupt!, you're in for a treat. The band has revealed that they plan to include 71 additional “demos and sketches” for the special release, due out April 23. Most of the tracks are less than 60 seconds long, while a couple of them clock in at about two minutes. You pre-order your copy of the deluxe edition of Bankrupt! now on iTunes.
In other Phoenix news, they're set to appear as the musical guest on NBC’s Saturday Night Live on April 6 along with host Melissa McCarthy, who currently stars in Identity Thief, now in theaters. This will mark the band's second appearance on the show, during which they'll perform songs from Bankrupt! Phoenix performed “Lisztomania” and “1901” from their Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix album during their initial appearance in 2009.
