(CLEVELAND) -- The Miami Heat survived Cleveland...barely.
Miami was down by 27 points in the third quarter, but LeBron James scored 19 of his game high 25 points from that moment on, as the Heat won their 24th straight game beating the Cavaliers 98-95 Wednesday.
"They were beating us pretty good," said James after beating his former team. "But I knew we still had a lot of time. And I know us as a team, we can make a run. We never panicked. We got frustrated a little bit just because when they were making shots we weren't making shots like we know we're accustomed to doing. We weren't getting defensive stops like we know we're accustomed to doing. So we got a little frustrated. But we didn't get rattled and we did not panic."
James finished the game with a triple-double, and had 14 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals in the fourth quarter.
Cleveland (22-46), which was playing without its top two leading scorers' Kyrie Irving and Dion Waiters, received 20 points from Wayne Ellington in the loss.
Miami (53-14) will go for its 25th straight Friday, when it hosts the Detroit Pistons.
