Greg Jennings Inks Five-Year Deal With Vikings

(EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn.) -- Greg Jennings will now have a chance to torture his former team after he signed a five-year deal with the rival Minnesota Vikings on Friday.

Jennings spent seven years in Green Bay with the Packers, but received a five-year deal worth $47.5 million, with $18 million guaranteed from Minnesota.

Jennings, 29, had a career-low 366 yards receiving with an average of 10.2 yards per catch, also his worst NFL total in only eight games with the Packers in 2012.

Jennings will jump from receiving passes from Aaron Rodgers to Christian Ponder.

"You can just get a sense that he needed a little more around him to give him some help," Jennings said of Ponder. "Hopefully, I can help him a little bit."

The Vikings delt wide receiver Percy Harvin to the Seattle Seahawks last week.
